My work is mainly influenced by landscape that I live near or the places I visit. I try to explore shapes and colours within in it. Nothing deep and meaningful just an attempt to create a visual record of the atmosphere of the place. The weather and seasons will have a big impact on this. A visual diary if you like.

I work mainly in acrylics but often use mixed media as well. Many things have crept in. My work ranges from realism to abstract depending on how I’m feeling at the time and what I want to express so I usually call it abstractrealism. I confess to getting restless to try something different after a while.
