Having grown up in Oxfordshire I gained a degree in Graphic Design at Bristol. I worked as a sound editor at Richard Taylor Cartoon Films in London before moving to Manchester to work for Cosgrove Hall Productions, working on animation programmes such as Dangermouse, Count Duckula and Wind in the Willows.
During the 1990s I moved back to Oxfordshire and started my own art gallery and picture framing studio. I embarked on a teacher training programme at Reading University in 2000 and taught art in secondary schools in Oxfordshire from Year 7 through to Sixth Form.
I retired in 2020 to pursue my own artistic direction which appears to be constantly evolving.
